Long Day, Short Match

Only playing doubles can make for a long day sometimes.  Phil and Tom's match was scheduled for 2:30 today.  Thanks to a short rain delay, plus making up matches from a rain late yesterday afternoon, everything was running a little behind.  They went on around 4:00 and about an hour later Phil called to say they had won 6-1, 6-0.  On to the finals.

The final match is scheduled around 12:30 tomorrow.  It won't be an easy one, but certainly one that I would think Phil and Tom should win.  I hate saying that and maybe putting a jinx on them.

Ellie and I have had a good day of watching tennis on TV, going for a couple of walks (strolls) and going out for a nice drive.  May sound mundane, but it made the day go by nicely.
