No Pain...Yet

Yesterday was a pretty long day. Phil was not given a room until after 4:00. Mainly because it's still season here and many snowbirds choose to have such surgeries here and recuperate in the warm rather than the cold north. Before he was brought up to his room, PT came around and had him up walking with a walker. Very impressive! Then he walked again before going to bed.

His pain level has been little to none. This morning before PT he was given pain meds, and before going again he will have the same protocol. Dr. Guerra came in early this morning and said all went great. So now it's just a matter of getting on the rehab and being diligent, which I have no reason to think he want be! He'll get the staples out in about 10 days. I'll have some pictures with the next post
