Yesterday was a fun off day. We came to the club so Phil could warm up Bob for his singles match. Then we hung around to watch some of the singles play and stayed until about 3:00. We had a great dinner with new friends, David and Karen Beaudry. Tarpon Cove member Betsy Harshbarger, who is close friends with Karen (who is also a member of the the Seattle Tennis Club) found us at the club and insisted we go to dinner. What a great time we had. Turns out we had another tennis friend in common! The tennis world is such a small world!!
We had wonderful food and and conversation. Thank your Betsy for hooking us up!
Phil goes on in about 1/2 hour to play his semifinal doubles. I am hoping and praying that his knee has two good sets in it for today. We'll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
