Moving On

With Phil only playing doubles, we've found our daily routine. Sleeping in until about 7:30. Then on to a neat little breakfast place for a 9:00 fresh hot breakfast (that's what time Cafe Flora opens) then on to the club for Phil to warm Bob up for his singles and then spend the day watching matches. Finally Phil and Bob play their doubles match around 4:00. I don't mind hanging out at the club because it is just beautiful. Today the skies were blue and clear enough that you could see snow capped Mount Rainier in the distance. We have not experienced the stereotypical cloudy, drabby, rainy Seattle weather everyone talks about. Instead it's a perfect 75 degree, sunny and no humidity.

Once again Phil and Bob made quick work of a local team, winning 6-0, 6-0. They have had two easy matches and are now in the semis. Phil's knee is holding up (barely) with lots of icing and TLC. They now play the #1 seeds and will have a very tough match. Luckily they have a day off tomorrow and he will be able to give his knee a day of rest.

We'll do everything we can to have him match ready for Thursday!
