Rain Out

Looks like the weather won today.  The day started ok in Palm Springs and all the singles matches were played as scheduled.  Phil called to say that he got a good warm up in, and just as they were getting ready to go on to play their match the weather started blowing in.  Light rain to start, with more rain and wind to follow.  Instead of waiting it out, the doubles matches have been cancelled for today and rescheduled for tomorrow.  A little disappointing, but Mother Nature always wins on these occasions.  Tom, Phil's doubles partner, won his singles in a walkover today.  So he'll play his semifinal singles prior to the doubles tomorrow.....so we wait another day!
