Feeling Ready

Today was a perfect day. Phil and I got a desperately needed good nights sleep. Being on no time table, we took our time getting out this morning, had a quick lunch, then headed to the courts. We hit for about an hour and a half, doing our usual drills. Once again, we had perfect playing conditions....no wind, 83 degrees, no humidity, all on a pristine grass court.
From Mission Hills, we went over to Indian Wells to check out the qualifying for the main draw event of the pro tournament next week. Then we ventured on to PGA West, another beautiful tennis facility. In fact, some of our tournament back draw matches will be played at PGA West. Just like Naples, everywhere you go there are beautifully landscaped, gated communities. Very impressive!
Tomorrow we have another practice day. We are meeting another couple at the courts for a practice match. We're both feeling ready to get started!
