Lucky for us we played early this morning in near perfect weather. Wind conditions deteriorated as the afternoon wore on. We played another very nice couple, the Dalkins, from Seattle. Phil and I played well and won 6-0, 6-1. With each match we are feeling more and more relaxed and confident. Tomorrow we play the McWilliams, a team from Texas. All the matches will start to get tough from here on out.
We were going to go to watch some of pros practice at Indian Wells this afternoon, but because of the high winds we decided to come back to the house to have a relaxing afternoon. Tonight is the players dinner at the club. Typically it's not my favorite thing to do, but it's a fun way to see all the players away from the courts. I'm such a pathetic homebody!!
Our quarterfinal match is scheduled for 8:45 tomorrow morning.
