Rainy Start
As predicted, we woke up to rainy skies in Houston. Luckily we had planned ahead and were able to hit indoors. Mary and Erika joined Fran and me for about an hour workout. The rains stopped for a while and matches started around 11:00 this morning, only for it to rain again this afternoon to finish off the day. We got another 45 minute hit in on the hard courts at the racquet club before the last rain. Phil was able to hit with Ross Pearsons, a friend and pro at the club. I'm ready to get started! I don't know much about my opponent. She advanced in a walkover today, so I wasn't able to scout her out. I think she will be a tough match, but it's the nationals and at this point, everyone is good. I've worked hard and now it's time to put it all out there. The weather is forecast to be sunny, but cool...something I'm used to.

I am finally getting in contact with Mykestennis.blog to see what is happening. I will be pulling for you every step of the way. It is snowing here today. It looks as if we will never have a chance to play tennis in Hendersonville again, but I know this time will pass. Play your best and know that I am rooting for you. Tillie
Hi Myke,
We are excited to hear more about your tournament. So glad that Phil is there with you. You know we are all with you and just hope you have a fun time. We miss you here, tho. Love, The KCs.
