Another Good Day

Our morning started early... up by six, breakfast by six thirty and on the practice court by seven. I like having early matches. After a good warm up with Marilyn, I made quick work of my opponent 6-1, 6-0. Pam and I followed up with a doubles win of 6-4, 6-2. The competition heats up starting tomorrow. All the matches will be tough from here on out. I play the number two seed, Shelly Works from Texas tomorrow at eleven. She's a consistent baseliner, so I'll need to be patient and mix my shots up. I'm excited about the opportunity to play her. Pam and I have doubles later in the afternoon. We finished our afternoon by Marilyn having another short massage, a quick shopping trip to Tennis Express and back to the hotel for an early dinner. The weather continues to be beautiful and warms up to 80 tomorrow. Already starting to hydrate.

What a great start, with weather just getting better every day. Can you add to your blog where you are. We are in Houston with a very sick granddaughter, who is now out of danger, but just might get a chance to get to see you play? 989-859-5775 if Marilyn can call us.
