Round of 16

I'm at the courts waiting for Phil and Tom to play doubles. Phil had a tough singles match and lost to a strong Austrian player 6-0, 7-5. In the first set his opponent didn't make many errors and Phil couldn't catch a break. In the second set Phil played better, but just wasn't sharp and on the ball like he has been. Now he can concentrate on the doubles. My opponent from Spain made me hit a lot of balls, but I moved well and played well. I won 6-2, 6-0. I move into the quarters now against Christine French, a very good player from Great Britain. I played her last year in the team competition and lost in three sets. I am very much looking forward to playing her again. My other three teammates from last week won their matches as well. Mariana and I are in the quarters of doubles and will play tomorrow. Match times aren't posted until around 7:00 tonight.
