First Day of Matches

My singles match today was a good start to the tournament. I played well, and won love and love. Mary and I played a good doubles team and won 4 and 3. Tomorrow will be tougher in both singles and doubles. I play Tracey Thompson, who I played last year. She's a good player and I'll have to be focused. The weather was a pleasant 65 degrees, with a cool breeze blowing. Tonight was a player party with pizza and karaoke. Believe it or not, Susan Wright, Mary Dailey, Mariana Hollman, Tracey Thompson, and I broke the ice and did the first song. After we got up and made fools of ourselves, there was a line to get up and sing. We had a great time! Phil finally got his power on early this morning, so things are getting back to normal for him.
