Singles and Doubles

Today Phil played both singles and doubles.  He won both rather easily.  He moves on now to the quarters of the singles and the semis of the doubles. 

Phil sad he didn't feel like he  had his adrenaline up today, but knows he'll need it tomorrow against his tough opponents.  In singles he plays a player that I'm not familiar with, but Phil knows him well.  In doubles he and Brian play Marty Pearson and Roger Pierce.  Phil has played national tournaments with Marty before and knows he is a strong powerful player.  In fact, Marty and Roger have won a couple of nationals before.  I feel like Brian and Phil will have the upper hand.  Buet at this stage of the draw anything can happen.

Once again, the Tarpon Cove cheer team was there!  Love those supporters!

I'll start watching the clock around 10:30 tomorrow morning and waiting for the phone to ring a couple of hours after that.....Go Philly!
