We Can See the Light

Our season is quickly coming to an end.  The strangle hold is loosening of having every minute of every day occupied with nothing but work thoughts and activities.  I'm guessing there are about 3-4 weeks worth of season left.

Phil played in (and won) another cat ll national last month in St. Petersburg.  He has continued to play well and focusing on his doubles game.  He has full confidence and belief in his new knee. He had his one year check up and got a clean bill of health on both knees.  He will be playing in the Florida Cup (West Coast v East Coast) in Sarasota next Saturday.  I'll get to go up and spend the day to watch him play. I'm looking forward to getting away.  I'd never get to do that if we weren't slowing down.  He'll figure out what his national playing schedule will be this year, as most of his big ones are in the fall.

I've been hitting a little more the past few weeks. Well actually, I've gone from not hitting at all, except to teach, to hitting and being fed by Phil a couple of times each week.  Somehow I'm feeling like I'm hitting very well.  My legs are gone, with no strength.  That's 100% on me to work on getting back in physical shape. I'll get there.  I hear some husband/wife tournaments calling our name to come play!!
