Finally a win after having been off for so long. Fran and I played well and won 6-3, 6-0. I had a little hiccup on my serve during the middle of the first set where I got broken at love, but other than that I felt pretty good. As the match progressed my confidence grew. Tomorrows opponents will be much tougher. They are more aggressive, and will look to get to the net.
Fran plays singles at noon, then we follow up with doubles at 3:00. The weather is gorgeous!
Phil and his partner, Larry Gagnon, won their first match today 0,0. A good start for both of us. So far so good!
