It's a gloomy, overcast day in Atlanta. We had rain overnight that has passed through, with a forecast of sun and warmer temps for the rest of the week. Phil and some buddies are practicing, and I'm enjoying hanging out.
Yesterday was a complete day of doing nothing...sleeping in, shopping, and meeting some Destin friends for a fun dinner. Just what we needed!! So far today, some of the same, except Phil is getting in some good practice, and I will do a workout of some sort back at the hotel. Tomorrow Phil will start getting his game face on for his first match on Friday.
I'm watching him play doubles right now with former tour pros Armistead Neely and Bailey Brown. Phil is hitting some incredible volleys. Bailey made the comment that Phil has the best volley on the planet. I agree.
