All we can ask of ourselves as competitors is to put out our best effort when we compete. Some days we play better than others, but as long as we know we gave it all we had, we can walk away with our head held high.
Phil had a great week of tennis, and but today he fell short in his singles final. He only fell short in that he lost to Tony Dawson in three sets. By competing hard in every match and putting out total effort, even when the chips were down, he can come home with his head high and proud of his accomplishments this week. I couldn't be more proud of him!
His next event is a the Atlanta Senior Invitational in early May. I hope to be able to make it to this one!
