Phil has spent the last couple of days in Atlanta resting and recovering from his big wins in New York. He and Tom have hit a few and played some doubles just to keep loose and work out the body kinks. Tomorrow he'll get a good workout in with Armistead Neely, which always gets his strokes grooved in. Armi is a machine! Singles play starts on Monday. Phil is seeded fourth in a very strong field of 64 players. He'll have a very tough second round match against a player who has won national titles before. Once again, there will be no easy matches. As of today only the singles draws have been posted. I've added that link to the right of this post. The doubles draws should be out in the next day or so.
I'm wearing my boot as instructed, and I think it's helping. I'm able to ride my bike with no pain, so that's been not only my mode of transportation to work, but also my exercise. I love riding and wonder why I don't do more of it! I'll be traipsing around in the boot for another week and hopefully back on the court soon. Since I don't have any events coming up I can take my time in getting this thing healed.
