One Match

It's only normal to have a let down after winning such a big match the day before. Phil was fighting the onset of a chest cold the day before he left Destin for New York. The congestion settled in, but he's been dealing with it through the week. Today was a tough day to get pumped up, but because Phil is so experienced and determined, he fought his way through a 6-4, 6-4 win, against a player he would normally beat 2 & 2. Luckily he only had one match today, and took the rest of the afternoon to rest and do laundry. The matches will only be getting tougher from here on. There are two rounds scheduled tomorrow, beginning at 9:00.
