This blog will allow me to journal my experiences both on and off the court in upcoming tournaments and travels.

Tired of being Tired
It's been a week today that I had the ablation. I really thought by now that I'd be chomping at the bit to be on the court and start working out. Instead I am having prolonged spells of extreme fatigue and lethargicness. Dr. Verma did say that I needed to rest for 5-7 days, but I just wasn't prepared for this feeling of lifelessness at all. Concerned, I called my cardiologist, Dr. Phlaum and explained how I was feeling. Before he sees me, he wanted me to call Dr. Verma's office and let them know what was going on. So that's where I am now, waiting to hear back from Verma's office. I keep thinking this could just be a side bar from the anesthesia, etc. I just want to find my mojo, and zest. Everyday I wake up, I keep thinking this is the day, but by noon I'm just wiped out. Thankfully Phil has been here every step of the way to encourage me, console me and take care of me. I've been taking care of my "God-dog", Little Bit, this week which always brings me joy. She's so sweet and loving and brings a smile to my face. Hope to hear from the doctor soon and will post later what the verdict is.

Dear Myke,
I am anxiously waiting to hear some good news from you. I am concerned that you haven't recovered as you had expected. My prayers are with you and I hope I hear some good news soon.
Love you,
Tillie
