Easy Day

Phil played his match this morning at 8:30 and cruised to any easy win over a French player who was playing in his first tournament. He now faces a player from Russia. I had another day off. Match times for tomorrow haven't been posted yet, but I feel certain I'll finally play. I had three different hits today. I hit early with Andrew, a player from Hong Kong, for about an hour, then Phil and I had a good half hour mid-day hit, then came back this afternoon for a practice doubles match with Mariana against Susan Wright and her partner Marianne Robertson. I think I've done all the practicing I can...I'm ready to play! Today was the warmest day we've had, well into the 80's. The heat will definitely work to my advantage. We watched some other American players today...most won. We're getting a little tired of the same food presentations...broke out the peanut butter for lunch today. Phil just reported in that we both play tomorrow at 12:30...yea!

Surprised that the food is "boring" but the scenery has to be spectacular. What a wonderful experience for you and Phil! Have fun! KCs
