Warmer Upper

Since I wasn't playing today, I took my time going to the courts and was able to do my laundry here at the hotel. I watched Susan beat Mariana handily in one semifinal, and Fran beat Tracey 6-1, 7-5. Tracey played well again today, but Fran was too good. I was able to hit today with three or four different players to warm them up for their matches. It was just enough to get me loose and stroke the ball. I'm ready to go again tomorrow. I play Kathy Vick, a nice player from Texas. Kathy and I have never played each other. She's very consistent, and our match has the potential to be a long one. Mary and I have doubles later in the day. We play the winner of a match that was playing when I left the courts. I love watching some of the 75's and even 85's play. I continue to be awestruck by all the talented players that play senior women's tennis.
