Good Day

After the hot, humid weather we've had in Destin the past week to ten days, it was very refreshing to wake up to little to no humidity with temps in the low 70's. Ideal conditions. Phil and I got a great hit in this morning before my noon match. I won my singles handily, 6-0,6-0.
Phil doesn't play his first match until tomorrow, so he and his doubles partner, Mario Singer had good early afternoon workout. I lounged poolside/court side and read my book while they hit. Shelia and I had a routine doubles match this afternoon winning 6-0, 6-1. Tomorrow is a whole different day. I play my doubles partner in the finals of the singles at 10, then Phil plays his first singles match at 3:30, then my doubles finals is at 4:30. Fortunately we are playing at the same site. I've never played Shelia before, but she has a good clay court game. I'm feeling good about my game and ready for a tough match.
