Rain, Wind, Cold, Play

Trish and I got our warm up in this morning at 7:30. The rains came around 8:30, before any matches were played. Then the winds came, along with the rain and then to top it off, the cold winds came. Matches didn't start up again until about 3:30 this afternoon. My match went on around 5:30. It was turning dark, and we finished under the lights around 6:20. I played efficiently and won love and love. There were still more singles to go on as I left the club this evening. Tomorrow will be back on schedule and I will be one of the first matches on at 8:30 in the morning. It will be chilly, but at least the sun will be out and the winds won't be as brisk. From here on out all the matches will be tough. It's always a good feeling to get the first one under your belt.

Good start - dogs were never a problem - Augie at the side and Chatum at the end were either keeping me in or intruders out! We had a nice walk before I left this morning. Good luck tomorrow!

I wrote you a note yesterday, but couldn't figure how to send it. Maybe I will do better today. I have become a blogger.
Your feelings about missing your Mom made me a little weepy and I was wishing I were there to give you a hug. It sounds like you have started with a bang. Keep up the good work. Know you are looking forward to Phil arriving.
