A New Challenge

I had a fun weekend of tennis by practicing with Susan and playing doubles with Renee against Ricky and Billy (two of our homeowners). Today I was able to play some practice sets with Sherri Bronson, another player in the tournament this week. Renee and I are so lucky to do the work we do and get to play with all these great players. My first match is tomorrow at 2:00. Since this isn't the age group I normally play in, I'm not familiar with all the players in the draw. My goal this tournament is to compete well and have fun. Actually that's the goal in all my tournaments...not just this one. I feel confident about my game right now. Renee's shoulder is much better than it was a week ago. She had tweaked it in one of our practice matches last week and we were both very concerned. Our first doubles match is on Wednesday afternoon. Phil did well in his tournament this weekend by winning both the singles and the doubles. His next event is about a month away.
