A Good Day
I was so ready to finally play today. It seems like I've been waiting and watching for days. Susan and I were able to warm up early for her match, then I hung around and waited for mine. I had an easy time with my opponent. I felt confident and strong from the beginning and was able to win love and love. Our doubles wasn't scheduled until late afternoon, but as the afternoon went on, courts opened up and we were able to get on early. We won our doubles match love and two. Tomorrow will be a tough day in both singles and doubles. I'm in the quarters of singles and play Tracey Thompson, a tough player from San Diego. We are in the semis of doubles and play the number one seeds Fran and Kathy. Mariana and I lost to them in the finals in Houston in March in a tough three set match. Susan and I should match up well against them too. This is what I've been working so hard for, so I'm going out to do the best I can. If I play the way I'm capable of playing then I should do well.
