Heading On

I leave this morning for Philadelphia. Seems like a long time coming, but I'm ready. Yesterday was another great hit on the grass at New Albany. Our workouts are so efficient. We did singles and doubles work. My serves and volleys feel as comfortable as my groundstrokes. An added bonus was getting to see John and Jeanne Mason. They live in Delaware, Ohio which is about half an hour from where we were hitting. It was a beautiful day, and they sat in the shade and watched us hit. Jeanne had taken from Phil many years ago when he had first come to Columbus. It was great to see them! I'll post again either this evening or tomorrow, once I get settled. My first singles match is onTuesday.

Myke,

Hooray - you made it to Philly! Now, NO CHEESE STEAKS until the tournament is over. Well, maybe just one! All the best for a great tournament!! And glad to know you got to see the Mason's while in the Buckeye state!
