Adjusting to West Coast time is always a challenge. After a long day of travel yesterday for Fran and me, we took it fairly easy today.  We are staying in a nice villa close to the courts in the same resort community that the tournament is being held.

We slept in a little, found the courts, hit for about 45 minutes and that was about it.  As usual Palm Springs is beautiful. Bright, clear sunny days, hot but no humidity. In fact the forecast highs for the next few days is 98*.  Sounds hot to me, humidity or not.

Normally we would find a restaurant that we like then eat there everyday...breakfast and dinner. Since our villa has a nice kitchen, we shopped for the week and are going to have breakfast and dinners in each night. Money saver and we know it’s healthy and we can make it just the way we like it! Dinner tonight was pasta and salad.

Hitting and a practice doubles match is on tap for tomorrow. Here are a few pictures from today...
