Five and Done

Five matches done.  And we have a WINNER!  I am so happy for Phil.  It makes all the hard work on and off the court worth it.  Phil has always said of himself that he feels like he deserves to do well if he has prepared well.  I can vouch for his preparation and hard work. He and Tony had a tough side of the draw, and won decisively in all their matches, not dropping a set.  I wish I could have been there in person to watch, but I was certainly cheering, (and stressing) from afar!

Now comes the long trip home tomorrow. He leaves Orange County around 9:00 in the morning (12:00 Naples time) and arrives home around 9:00 tomorrow night.  A long travel day, but coming home with a gold ball makes the trip a little easier!

Then we only have a couple of weeks until we pick up Ellie! We live a blessed life.
