Practice Day

We have both acclimated to the time change now and feel fully rested. There are so many little village type cafe places to eat. Phil and I found a great one to have breakfast, really brunch, late this morning. We can't get over how beautiful the weather is! Today was sunny with no humidity. Rarely do we see that in Florida.

Phil is really struggling with his knee. Chances are he will pull out of singles and only play the doubles. He practiced again today with Bob, and started very slow. He thought it loosened up slightly during the time they hit. Lots of ice and not doing too much on it is the plan right now. Their first match is tomorrow at 3:00.

With time to kill this afternoon, we thought we'd hit Pike Place Market in downtown. The traffic was horrific, and parking worse so decided to bag it. We'll try again another day. Instead we came back to University Village, grabbed a bite, and called it a day. We did see the Space Needle from afar. That's about as close as Phil and I will get to it. We both (me especially) have a fear of heights. So...going up to the Space Needle won't be happening!!!

Tomorrow is time to get tournament tough. I'm expecting Phil's knee to hold up and I so it will!!
