I suspected that the playoff for 3rd and 4th wouldn't happen today.  The opposing team defaulted to Phil and Marty early in the day.  One of the players, Tony Dawson, had to retire in his singles match yesterday because of being overheated.  Today he pulled out of the doubles too. So, Phil and Marty finished third.  Not exactly how Phil was hoping things would turn out, but it is what it is.

I believe that Phil will come home with a heightened sense of what he needs to work on before his next event, which is only a couple of weeks away.  He's so good about getting his on court workouts in, and with a new set of things to work on he'll be fired up.

I've started working with a new trainer to get my strength and balance back.  Other being extremely sore, I feel like this is a great motivator to get me started on the right track. 

Phil returns home late Sunday. We have a couple of more weeks left in the season before if winds down.  I'll post again from Atlanta in a couple of weeks.
