Today seemed like a routine day for Phil's second round singles match. He said it was windy again and that coupled with errors from his opponent gave him a 6-2, 6-2 win. Phil was hoping to be able to work on some serve and volleying in his early rounds, but the wind has dictated play more than anything else. He and Geoff are playing their first round doubles match right now. Looks likes the forecast for tomorrow in Palm Springs is for calmer conditions. I just hope my nerves can weather the storm!
