The misty, windy weather was persistent today. All the 8:00 a.m matches were backed up all morning waiting for the weather to break. Our match with Midwest finally went on at 2:00, and all three Florida girls played well, and swept the singles. Doubles went on under the lights, with Susie Brown and I winning our match, and Rita and Susan winning theirs. A good win and warmup for our match with number one seeded Southern tomorrow. We'll all have to be at our very best to do well, but we're up for the challenge. I just hope the rain and wind go away....it sure makes for a long day when you have to hurry up and wait!
