Another Good Day

Phil just called to say that he and Tom won their quarterfinal match today. They played a team from California that they had beaten in the finals of this same tournament two years ago. With the win two years ago, in three sets, Tom and Phil won the "Gold Slam". They won today 6-3, 6-3. According to Phil it was a really well played match with lots of quick exchanges. Tom moved on to the quarters of the singles, and Tom and Phil are in the semis of the doubles. I think they'll play tomorrow. Right now Phil is scheduled to take a red-eye home on Sunday night and arrive in FWB on Monday morning. If the tournament stays on schedule, and they keep winning, it looks like the tournament could be over on Saturday. I'd love it if he came home early!!! I've been keeping Lil' Bit this week while John and Marilyn are playing in Kiawah. I love having her here to keep me company! She's such a cutie patootie!
