The days were dragging, and now that it's Wednesday night, it's all going too fast! Phil and I had a good hit this morning, then I was off to Ft. Walton to do some quick errands, then back to
Hidden Dunes briefly this afternoon, then a quick mow of the grass, (which I insisted on doing to help burn off the nervous energy that has taken over my body) then we picked up a pizza for dinner,(my personal favorite meal of all time) and now finally sitting down to see if I'll be able to get my mind and body to stop racing long enough to sleep tonight. We have to be at the hospital in Pensacola at 7:30 a.m. with the surgery scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
I've had an elbow surgery and Achilles tendon surgery, and sort of knew what to expect with those procedures. The catheter ablation is a whole new adventure for me and I have no idea what to expect...before,during or after. I do know that I'll be under general anesthesia and it will last at least a couple of hours. We'll stay the night for observation, then home on Friday.
I'll update over the weekend. I do know one thing. With all the well wishes, and prayers that have been passed on, I'm in good hands. I can feel the strength of God's hand that will carry me
through the next 24 hours.
