We´re Here

We made the long journey just fine. We met up in Atlanta with two of Phil´s teammates, as well as Fran, her sister Mary Claire, and Mary Dailey. The flight to Barcelona was long as predicted, but uneventful. I managed to catch some sleep in small doses. Phil does not sleep on planes so he was wiped out when finally made it to Mallorca this afternoon. Everyone agreed to go hit and get the cobwebs out, although we all wanted to sleep. We have a half board plan here at the hotel, which includes breakfast and dinner. We were all less than impressed with dinner, but were too tired and hungry to do anything else. Hopefully we´ll get a good night´s sleep and see things in a different light tomorrow. The hotel is very nice, and right on the beach, which is beautiful! I´ll do a little more exploring and picture taking tomorrow. The other half of the girls team arrives tomorrow. I´ll practice with Fran and Mary tomorrow morning while the guys hit, then strike out on my own to do some looking around while the teams practice in the afternoon.
