I'm happy to put 2008 to rest, and ready to take on 2009. Although I've had some tough times this past year, I like to think the lows have helped me to appreciate the highs that much more. I'm looking forward to the new tournament season and all that goes into preparing for each event. My first big tournament is the Clay Court Nationals in Houston in early March. Our busiest time at work is upon us, so I have to find that balance between work time and playtime. Renee is great at always being there for me both professionally and personally. I was able to spend some time with Phil over the holidays and we were able to get some great workouts in. We've both set new goals for this year and ready to help each other attain them. Phil has his National Indoors in late March, then we'll be off to Spain in late April for the Worlds. How blessed I am to be doing exactly what I love to do, and have someone so special to share it all with.
I will be posting periodically between now and March, when I leave for Houston. Thanks to all of you all for your continued love and support.
