This blog will allow me to journal my experiences both on and off the court in upcoming tournaments and travels.

Intersectionals in Naples
I'm gearing up for my last competitive event of the year. In a couple of weeks I will be driving down to Naples, Florida to play for the 45's Florida team against twelve other sections of the USTA. There are 18 sections total in the USTA, so having thirteen represented in our age division is pretty good. We have put together a pretty good team. The format consists of three singles matches and two doubles matches each round. I expect us to be seeded in the top four. Since returning from Salinas, I've continued my off court training workouts with Geoff, which are going great. Phil was here for a few days to get ready for his Hard Court Nationals which are next week in Palm Springs. Unfortunately we had torrential rain three of the five days he was here. Geoff worked us both out pretty hard during that time and we were able to get some good drilling in on the other two days. I'm looking forward to playing matches again. I'll be posting periodically between now and then to keep you up to date on everything.
